Kso, when Mentions were first announced, I was pretty neutral and convinced nobody used or mentioned my shit thus I would never really see this featured in it all its wondrous glory. Turns out people actually do use the few emotes I have and quite frequently. Here a quick summary on my thoughts and I'm doing it as a journal BECAUSEWHYNOT
- Seeing how and where people use emotes is really quite interesting
- Seeing just how many people like a particular emote is also pretty awesome
- But then some moron does this shit, and you're like. Fuckyouasshole
- Stacks need to happen. Keep that shit organized and whatnot.
- Some proper stats, such a new Mention stat on deviation pages would pretty awesome ("This deviation has been Mentioned X amount times...")
- The feature overall is very rough, seriously, dear deviantART, I will lose a lot of respect for you peeps if give this thing a short beta period like most new features of late. Let this thing ride the beta train for longer then a month, you silly, impatient programmers.
