Like everyone yesterday, I was a little surprised by the new symbols. Now that I've had a little time with them... I guess they're alright. I still would prefer the symbol to the left of the name, and I'm not too crazy about the symbols chosen. The only one I'm honestly happy with was the Groups symbol, because using the # was the dumbest idea ever, so I'm glad they finally fixed that idiocy. Also, I think it's sad regular deviants no longer get a symbol. Some people complained about "perma subs" being only 7yrs now. I think that move is perfectly logical from a business standpoint. You people have to understand deviantART is still a business and they have to make money somehow to keep the servers running and whatnot, and giving people free subs for life kinda cuts down on that. I'm not saying I like it, just that I understand the logic.
